Fire and smoke danced together
Turned the clear blue sky into darkness
Brought the green to dry
Killing every living thing around them
Smoking out the animals from their habitation
It was dark, it was hot
We can’t run
Standing until the red devil wiped us
Day after day
It’s a long time after the moment of terror
Tear drops from heaven
Wetting the earth
It brings a new life
